Local car washes
When driving on the main roads of various North West's townships, you may just bump into several informal kasi (township) car washes. These are not just places where you go to wash your vehicles, but serve as so much more.
At times, you may sit on drums, bricks, car seats placed on the ground or even camp chairs. What makes it interesting is that you don't have to frequent here only to wash your vehicle, but can visit such spots just for the company and to talk about various topical things.
These car washes are often built with sticks, bricks, cardboard, plastics and other materials. They are not necessarily the typical car washes found in big cities, but places of interest where you can catch up with locals and support small businesses.
Have you gone to such a car wash and/or do you have a comment concerning such? I would sure like to hear from you. Please leave your comment below.
