Located in the quite, but growing town of White River, the Casterbridge Lifestyle Centre is a neat tourist attraction that you have to pop in on your way to Kruger National Park.

In this centre, you will find a lot of local produce as well as stores filled with both locals and tourists. It is the type of place you come to, to buy that distinctive homemade jam (available from Amazon) you can't seem to find in supermarkets or fresh bread made just them way no machine can duplicate.

A top highlight of the Casterbridge Lifestyle Centre has to be the White River History and Motor Museum. Even if you are not a car fanatic, you are bound to find something that tempts you to take a selfie with your selfie-stick (available from Amazon). There is also delightful motor art (available from Amazon) as well as a pleasing hotel on the premises for those who don't want to be in a hurry to leave.

Surely there's something for everyone in this area. I love the gardens as well as the open space and landscape of this centre. It is also rather close to the Protea Hotel, The Winkler where I had the privilege of sleeping there when out on a family holiday. If you are in White River, don't pass by without stopping to see this precious gem for yourself.
