Click to buy it now on Amazon! It feels like yesterday when I heard that I was going to be an aunt. I wept out of excitement. Even as I left, I cried so much, I could hardly drive. Being a travel blogger aunt to the most loving "under-2[years]" toddler comes with a lot fun opportunities to tour with him.

I look at my nephew and I see the awe in his soul. He want's to go out and explore his world. He smells flowers, listens to sounds with a sparkle in his eyes, dances to random music, sees even the tiniest crumbs and longs to taste whatever he can sneak into his tiny mouth (usually anything other than the food he is given).

I often get queries from people who long to explore their surroundings with little ones, but they don't know where to start. People long to travel, but some feel that they are limited because it is no longer a simple lock-up-and-go scenario.

I love how a simple push along toddler tricycle (similar to the ones available from Amazon) has made all the difference to our adventures. My nephew prefers this to the pram. It is also a lot lighter and easier to carry. I love the independent look on his face when he rides his tricycle and we strap him to his eat.

The disadvantages are that toddlers tend to fall asleep without warning, so you need to constantly make sure that he's awake. I am not much of a DIY (do-it-yourself) person and don't know how I would have assembled it on my own (thank God for smart sisters)! The one he has is also a bit difficult to carry in the car as it does not easily fold or dismember to fit nicely in the boot (trunk).

It's great for exercising and going for a nearby. We also take it along when we go on vacation. The perks far outweigh the glitches. When his mom (my sister) got it and assembled it, I did not think much of it until my nephew fell in love with it. We have since explored the house, neighborhood, nature reserves, malls and so much more with it. I am not so much brand conscious as I am of the concept of a push along toddler tricycle. Now that he's almost two and more daring, I think the only thing to add to this great find has to be a toddler safety helmet (available from Amazon).
